What You’ll Do Each Day
As a Warehouse Assistant, your duties blend sales and administrative tasks. You’ll provide excellent customer service at the switchboard and reception, ensuring every visitor is welcomed professionally.
Your core task is to drive Cash & Carry sales by assisting customers with their purchases and guiding them throughout the shopping experience. You will process sales orders, returns, and credit notes smoothly and efficiently.
The role requires you to handle daily cash-ups, banking, and processing of COD payments with a keen eye for detail. Accuracy in invoicing, filing, and POD management forms a major part of your day.
You’ll help keep shelves fully stocked, maintain correct pricing, and monitor availability of top-selling items to ensure customers find what they need. Participating in quarterly stock takes and weekly cycle counts is also necessary.
Maintaining Occupational Health and Safety and food safety standards on site forms part of your daily routine, helping ensure a safe, compliant workplace for everyone.
